A Tournament that challenging your Life Skills to find solutions on how to implement the Sustainable Development Goals set by United Nations.

This tournament is for International School Students from 9 to 12 years old. The Tournament includes:

1. Workshops & Games
2. Coaches & Facilitators
3. Experts Speakers
4. Teams final performance
5. Awards Time

How does it work?

Students will work in teams and be guided by professional mentors and coaches from different fields. The whole day will be divided in 3 big parts.

Children will go over a case study about one of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals from the United Nations and try to find a solution.

The Tournament will be divided into two tracks, one for Participants (children) and another one for Guests (adults).

Tournament Theme

“On September 25th 2015, countries adopted a set of goals to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure prosperity for all as part of a new sustainable development agenda. Each goal has specific targets to be achieved over the next 15 years. For the goals to be reached, everyone needs to do their part: governments, the private sector, civil society and people like you.” — United Nations.

This year we will focus on 4 goals, being Zero Hunger, Quality Education, Gender Equality and Climate Action.

Why do we do it?

Life Skills has been growing as a trend in China and around the world, admitting its importance in professional and personal life. United Nations, Word Economic Forum, OECD have done extensive research that underlines the importance of soft skills education.

Understanding the value of Life Skills for students, many educational institutions have already started to take steps towards supporting them on this pathway.

World Economic Forum states that students require 16 skills to succeed in the 21st century, 12 out of which are soft skills.
